Le Paysage Ménagé
C-Mine, Genk
Feb.—Jun. 2021

lasercutted wood panels of different sizes, custom typography

Signalisation for the location between the brick-making and the warm bed as the information about the project. Le Paysage Ménagé was located at the foot of the terril in the Winterslag in Genk, and included the use of material to make bricks. With these bricks, they assembled a warm bed for the activities of C-Mine.

For the occasion, an artist edition was produced: a series of chauffeuse from the local milestone.

Le Paysage Ménagé is the longterm research projet by Ciel Grommen & Maximiliaan Royakkers in which they search different ways of being part and connecting to a landscape.
